Improving Student Learning Outcomes Through the Application of a Smart App Creator-Based Jire Collaborative Learning Model on Temperature and Heat Material at Senior High School

Abstract


 

This research aims to improve student learning outcomes by applying the Jire collaborative learning approach, which is based on Smart App Creator, to teach the topic of temperature and heat at SMA Negeri 1 Kabila. This research is a classroom action research conducted in one cycle. Cycle 1 included the planning/action stage, action implementation, observation and evaluation, and analysis and reflection. The participants of this study consisted of 36 students enrolled in class X IPA 7 SMA Negeri 1 Kabila. Data analysis methodology using learning outcomes assessment. Data analysis uses methodologies such as student activity observation sheets, learning implementation sheets, and student learning outcomes data. Based on data analysis in cycle 1, it was found that 36 students obtained a classical completion rate of 100%. In addition, 89% of student activities met the criteria of excellent or good, and learning implementation reached 91%. The research findings show that the implementation of the Jire collaborative learning paradigm, which is based on Smart App Creator, can improve students' academic achievement.
